5 Bucks
Got a 5 rupee coin today in change from someone and that started the chain. If I want to spend some money less than 5 bucks what all I can get...
And so this list was born…I might have missed a lot of things…Please feel free to add and give a number also…
I am talking about single, multiple items which are useful in some way, please don’t say x grams = 5 divided by the price of 1000 grams :)
- Local bus/train/metro tickets
- Sachets – Shampoo, Detergent, Ketchup etc
- Parle-G biscuit pack and maybe other non-branded biscuits
- Stationary - Pens (not sure about the quality) and some refills, Pencils, erasers, sharpeners, Drawing sheets, maps etc
- Plastic stuff – spoons etc
- Chocolates, Candy, Polo etc
- Ice candy :) for which your mom will tell don’t eat, its unhygienic
- Fresh lime juice (nimbu paani)
- Some veggies, eggs
- A glass of hot T, Chapati in a dhaba, other food stuff like an idli
- Boiled egg
- A shoe shine
- Blessings from a beggar
- Medicines etc from a drugstore
- Flowers – those white ones which smell good and women are fond of tying a bunch with their hair
- Junk food like pakodas, samosa, wada pav etc or a single piece of sweet or namkeen maybe
- Some cosmetic stuff like a bindi?? etc, a pyjama nada maybe, a rakhi dhagga
- Pencil cells
- Pins, screws
- Stamps, Envelope
- Clips used to hang wet clothes maybe
- A shirt ironed
- A Cigarette, matchbox, pan, chutki and other stuff
- Candle
- Prashad which we offer in a temple, other such kinda stuff
- Raddi
- Newspapers, magazines (when offers come)
- Weight, fortune at the respective machines

- BALLOONS :)
That’s it for me…can’t think of anything else…still I feel happy that there is so much stuff that costs 5 rupees of less…plus a lot of things are free YIPEEEEEEEE
Like the fresh air, colour of the sky, the night stars, moonlight, bhaisaab zara time batana :)
